This site is intended to be a central place for people who have or want to build their own Garage Gym. It contains tutorials and commentary on building your own equipment, along with some commentary about training.

I spent several years building houses while going to university for Technical Writing, where I specialized in instructional documentation. Shortly after graduating, I discovered bodybuilding, then powerlifting, CrossFit and weightlifting. I was the quintessential 90’s small male, but had a desire to radically improve myself physically. The intersection of building knowledge, instructional writing and physical culture has landed me here at this site.

My goal is to help you establish your own training space:

  • Liberated from the costs and frustrations of a gym that doesn’t align with your training goals.
  • Chock full of Innovative uses of low-cost materials.
  • A place where you can Dominate where others are content to simply exist.

“I applaud your resolve, and I welcome you to the community of people who have decided that EASY will no longer suffice.” -Mark Rippetoe
